How to deal with the problem of decoration wallpaper?
Warped edges on wallpaper are one of the common problems. The cause of warping may be improper treatment of the base layer, insufficient glue adhesion, or large changes in indoor humidity. For paper wallpaper, if there is a small area of warping, you can use special wallpaper glue to re-paste; If you have a large area of warped edges, you may need to tear off the wallpaper, reprocess the base layer and paste it. For PVC wallpaper, because of its stiffer material, it needs to be pressed more forcefully when re-pasting after warping to ensure a strong bond.
Moldy wallpaper is also a headache. It is usually caused by high indoor humidity and poor ventilation. For mild mildew, it can be wiped with a mold remover; If the mold is severe, the wallpaper may need to be replaced. When choosing wallpaper, for environments with high humidity, such as walls near the bathroom, you should give preference to wallpaper materials with anti-mold function.
The fading of the wallpaper may be due to direct sunlight or the poor quality of the pigments used. For fading caused by direct sunlight, you can reduce sunlight exposure by installing curtains, etc.; If the pigment is a problem, replacing it with a better quality wallpaper is a better solution.
Bubbles on wallpaper are also common. The cause of air bubbles may be uneven glue application or uneven wall surface during construction. Small bubbles can be punctured with a needle and then flattened with a scraper; Large bubbles need to be cut and re-glued.
